Our Review Methodology

1. Score Weighting Matrix

Our overall rating grade (out of 10) is derived from five core sub-metrics, computed using the following weights:

• Uptime Reliability (25%): 10 points for 99.99%+, sliding down to 0 points below 99.5% uptime.
• Server Response Latency / TTFB (25%): 10 points for under 150ms, sliding down to 2 points for over 500ms.
• True Pricing & Renewal Value (20%): Evaluates introductory promos and penalized hosting providers with aggressive renewal markup hiking spikes.
• Beginner Usability & Panel UX (15%): Evaluating 1-click install helpers, domain setup wizardry, staging access, and UI layouts.
• Technical Support Response (15%): Graded on reply latency, help desk access, and troubleshooting accuracy.

2. User Review Validation

We index and analyze public user forums (such as Trustpilot, G2, and Reddit) to capture aggregate community feedback. This sentiment analysis prevents isolated testing incidents from altering ratings.

3. Objective Stance

No hosting provider can pay to inflate their score. The mathematical scoring constraints apply equally across all hosts in our consolidation system.
